Inspired by quilts and the great American Bison. As a Utah resident, I've had the opportunity to see American Bison up close at Antelope Island. I wanted to portray their majesty while treating each section of the painting like a quilt - pops of color and texture married with bold patterns. My ancestors were pioneers and a love for quilting has been passed down through my family line for generations.
