A self fulfilling prophecy. As I age depression gains progression, regressing myself into a husk that inhales a tasteless fog. The more depressed and indifferent I become, the more likely I can dream of taking my life and the more courage I gain to act in the waking hours. The more I believe it the more I can feel the comfortable tightness of a braided extension cord looped around my throat. A strong mental image presented in somber yet beautiful charcoal strokes.
