This was a commission for a collector that had recently lost her elderly cats and wanted to commemorate them. She gave me complete artistic freedom to do whatever I felt and had no stipulations of what she wanted. She described them as such fun, sweet, loving animals that I had the inspiration to use some unexpected background colors to give it a vintage feel.
