This view - one that I've seen countless times over the years - is from the top of the bridge crossing the Swinomish channel, looking south toward the small fishing village of La Conner, WA. The light and hue changes throughout the day and with each season, as do the watermarks on the land. A small oil painting - equal parts observation and memory.
