I painted this on the Biltmore Paint Out at the Biltmore Estates on the last day of the 2024 Plein Air Convention. I THINK the artist on the left may be artist Ellen Howard - whom I've unintentionally painted twice in the last year. I do not know Ellen, but she seems to end up standing in my painting view. If it happens again, she may start thinking I'm a stalker. This painting is incredibly meaningful since it was only months later that the Biltmore and most of the locations we painted during PACE were heavily damaged from flooding.
