It was a winter day. The red evening sun created a fantastic coloring and fascinated me. When I painted some flowers, my daughter, Vasylisa, ran into the room, and I added her portrait to the foreground. It was a beautiful composition, but I still wanted more balance. I couldn't finish this canvas until... One day, when my grandma died, I added to this image knitted hat, a scarf crafted by her. And the painting was balanced. I called this painting "time", it is the most essential in our lives.
