Ever Vigilant

This a studio painting done from sketches and digital images of Desert Big Horn Sheep where they were observed in their natural habitat in Palm Desert, California. I did numerous sketches of them individually and then returned home to my studio and did this painting. I was very excited to have obtained a digital image out of dozens I took with them looking out over the tundra! Im still in possession of the painting as the focal painting in my studio!
