King Moon Tide

A rare occurrence, the King Moon, causes extraordinarily high tides, flooding a simple marsh setting. I drove to this park to see just how high the tide was and was stunned into silence. I knew right then I needed to capture what I was seeing en plein air. In less than three hours the tide had receded completely, leaving nothing but mud and marsh grass.
