Dusty's Boat

Painted en plein air on a very hot day, from life, down at my local dock where my friend lives on her boat. The owner of this boat was quite curious and friendly when he saw what I was doing, humbly surprised that I'd be interested in his little liveaboard. I'm not a big fan of the sun, and so I painted this very quickly (thankful for my huge hat!). I like the spontaneous marks that resulted from my urgency to get back to the shade.
