“That’s Barry’s Boat”

Barry’s Boat was initially painted en plein air by the pier in Courtmac, Cork Ireland this January 2025. It then evolved onto a full watercolour sheet in my studio. It was my friend, Kevin Macpherson, who inspired the title as he commented “That’s Barry’s boat, tell him hello for me!” Kevin painted here with friends last Summer after The Art in the Open. Lots of fond memories of this.
