The Old Pepsi Barn on Hwy 61

This barn sits just north of Burlington, Iowa, on the east side of highway 61. Years ago the farmer living there was granted permission from the Pepsi company to paint their famous logo on the side. He maintained it meticulously for years. Though the barn and sign have now faded, I still find it to be a charming reminder of a by-gone era. The painting was done in watercolors.
