"Stay Green" is a reflection of the almost lost child of a growing family. Severe blood lost, grave diagnosis of doctors, the child is born and behaves in a perpetual state of joy and bliss, unbeknownst to the wicked nature of the world.
Two of his tulip buds represent his physical brain and mental state of mind, unable to fully bloom into a full tulip.
