On a visit to Maine in October 2024, I was so inspired by the beautiful rugged and rocky coastline of the Schoodic Peninsula. The rock formations were intriguing and I was inspired to capture the tumble of water-worn stones deposited on the shore and the moody sky and light of the day. This was painted in my studio from photographs I took while on the trip.
