I painted this piece using acrylic on a cradled wooden panel. One of my favorite locations for inspiration is the Bahamas. This scene no longer exists due to Hurricane Dorian, which makes it an even more meaningful subject for me to paint. My process begins very chaotic, resembling the aftermath of a hurricane, and transforms into a joy-filled painting.
