I always liked the lighting properties of watercolor, or rather, its ability to simply use the white of the paper as the lightest parts of the painting (as opposed to thicker mediums, where it looks better to actually create thickness in the lightest parts of the image), but also to easily balance the warm and cool colors, and create abstract textures.
In this case, I tried to keep those textures subtle, while focusing instead on the drapery and the light on the model.
