Emergence

Magic is found in the light, mystery is found in the dark, and for me, inspiration is found where the two meet. This painting was born from a special experience out in the ocean on a stormy day, swimming with a baby humpback whale. The water was dark, murky and rough but the effect it created underwater was magical. The whales would appear and disappear in a blink on an eye and you would almost miss them if you were really looking.
